Our Soap Nuts Powder is VERY finely ground in order to optimize the release of the all important saponin - the actual active ingredient in soap nuts that produces the "soaping" effect.
Powder is very convenient for laundry and excellent for scouring and almost all household cleaning needs. It is not as economical as the traditional "soap nuts in a bag" method for doing laundry.
