Soap Nuts are Mother Nature's gift - 100% natural laundry soap. A safe, hypoallergenic, biodegradable alternative to harmful chemicals. If you suffer from allergies, sensitive skin, or want to do your part for a greener earth, Soap Nuts are a dream come true.
Soap Nuts are dried shells of the soapberry (a fruit) containing saponin (an EXTREMELY effective cleaning agent) that produces the soaping effect. Saponin works like most detergents & soaps WITH NO CHEMICALS! They have been used for ages in personal hygiene, hair care & multi-purpose cleaning. Easily converted to powder or liquid. ULTRA SIMPLE TO USE:
- Put 5-6 shells (~1/2 oz) in wash bag.
- Toss directly in washer with laundry. Don't overstuff loads!
- Reuse 4 - 7 times.

Number of loads vary due to water temperature, hardness, washer type, cycle selection, etc. Est. loads are based on 1/2 oz per medium sized loads. HE washers typically yield more loads. May use with traditional cleaning boosters as desired.
Tip: Start fresh! Run a couple warm or hot loads with rags or such to help purge washer of residual chemical buildup.

| I got a front loading washing machine about a year ago, and I love it except for when I wash towels. They never came out clean-smelling. That all changed when I started using these Soap Nuts. Now my towels and all my other laundry come out smelling and looking cleaner than ever! I couldn't find a lot of information about how many soap nuts to use for the front loading washers, since they use less water than the top loading washers. But I have been using 3 nuts and reusing them at least 4 times with no problems. These are wonderful! |

I have not used another brand of soap nuts except naturoli. Then again why would I when it is just fantastic?! I once thought the price is kinda hefty since i bought a smaller one to experiment. Then i see this deal and i felt like a fool for not buying this instead. In the beginning i chucked the soap nuts in cold water with my wash and i was not too thrilled about the results but I decided, for earth i will endure a semi clean shirt. But as i reread the Naturoli site (Lots of wonderful info) i boiled it and oh man.. I LOVE IT! The smell is so natural and beautiful. I hate fragrance detergent. I've been getting my sister to use it but my brothers find it a hassle to have to put it in hot water first so they dont. grrr.
But it is has been a heaven sent. When I see such a product I wondered why humankind ever even created commercial detergents when this stuff is so much better?
Oh, and i love how its a plant. It will force people not to deforest and plant more trees. I have absolutely no complaint about these soap nuts. The only thing maybe is i have to boil every time but its well worth it!
